Ladakh offers a variety of accommodations to suit almost every pocket or preference. Most hotels are family- run establishments and, as such, the services are more personalised than professional. We are able to book a wide range of accommodation and pride ourselves on being able to match our customers requirements with accommodation to suit.
To help guide you we have developed
our own classification system. As a rule of thumb, the higher the
classification the higher the price.
Premium - These hotels are of Top quality, offering a full range of
facilities. Currently there are very few truly 'luxury' hotels in Ladakh.
Luxury - 3 Star Quality Hotels:These hotels are Moderate Quality
Hotels standard with comfortable rooms and a good range of facilities.
Most of Them are Graded A Class Deluxe by the Local authorities.
Deluxe - 2/3 star quality hotels offering a range of facilities and
reasonable comfort. Most of Them are Graded A Class by the Local
authorities.
Standard - Economy, simple or budget hotels. The facilities
will be limited but the rooms will have en suite facilities (unless
stated otherwise). These hotels will offer a friendly service often
compensates for the lack of amenities.
Cost Saver ( Guest Houses ) -
The guesthouses is a less formal facility offering rooms is a part of a residential house or its annex, where the guests can share the family kitchen for meals. Apart from the low tariff offered for accommodation ranging from very good to merely basic, the guesthouse system also provides an opportunity for the tourists to see and experience Ladakhi life from the inside.
