Description of Tsermang Eco Camp

Ideally located 10 minutes drive from Leh, the Tsermang Resort promises you an enchanting view of the Indus River. Set with an aim of understanding nature, it offers a serene and rejuvenating environment. Spread over more than 300 meters along the river, surrounded by thick seabuckthorn bushes, mountains and sunshine, it sure is a dream-like place. But step in, and adventure begins almost instantly.

Tsermang Eco Camp Hotel Facilities

• A family atmosphere prevails here always. This encourages people to meet, chat and interact with each other. In its antique cupboards, you can find a wooden backgammon, a traditional game played with seashells, the "Caroms", the billiard ancestor, scrabble etc, a library with books on fauna and flora.
• Don’t look for TV here... Just open your tent door and you will enjoy the most stunning Nat Geo program ever !
• The Tsermang Eco Resort thus provides every necessary modernity to ensure a hassle-free accommodation in the midst of natural surroundings. Our facilities and services are oriented towards making your stay smooth and extremely pleasurable. Solar plugs can be provided for workoholics (mobile and laptops)
• We will also promote local and ecofriendly artists in the Boutique.

Tsermang Eco Camp Rooms Facilties

The Camp makes available 8 luxurious tents.

The size of the living area is 12 x 12 ft with a twin bed with high quality mattresses. Bath areas are of the size 12 x 6 ft, along with a wash basin, mirror, and hand-held shower. Our western style toilets respect the environment and are sanitized by ecological lime powder. The accommodation tents are weather proof and well ventilated with roll up windows.

Each identical tent has been named in accordance with a buddhist monastery from the Indus Valley.

Cuisine of the Tsermang Eco Camp

To give you a cuisine of excellence, we do our best to use fresh organic products by buying directly from local farmers.

Breakfast - Mix of continental dishes, toast, eggs ... and local Cambir (Ladakhi hot bread), butter and delicious local apricot jam with tea or coffee.

Lunch - If you go on tour, a delicious picnic will be provided or if you prefer to relax and stay in the camp, enjoy our cuisine based on local products in the tent or on the terrace restaurant.
Afternoon Tea - tea with yak butter salt is served in the lounge tent. Time much appreciated after a walk on the banks of the Indus, a tour or observation of many species of animals living in the valley.

Dinner - It will be served in the restaurant tent or terrace depending on the temperature at night, you savor delicious meals by candlelight Ladakhi, Continental or Indian suit every palate.
